Jaguar E-type Lightweight (by
Wingfield)
This superb car was first built for Sir Anthony Bamford, the second
owner the late Rodney Bloor won several events in the car, one being the
famous street race at Angouleme in 1999. We purchased the car in 2006 and
sold it to its last owner, who did two very successful Tour-Britania events
in 2007 and 2008. In the last 18 months the car has had a fortune spent
upgrading it to the highest of standards possible. Improved race brakes,
suspension, cooling system, electrics, timing computer, special race cage,
ultimate race seats, harness set and so on. The car was stripped to bare
alloy and repainted in Ecosse blue. Race tuned 4.2 ltr engine, race cams,
triple Webers, circa 345 BHP.* Dunlop race wheels, etc, etc. Without
question one of the quickest E-Types on the planet, that handles correctly
and is now eligible for many race/tour auto events etc. Simply stunning. !!
£POA.
