1928 Bentley 6.5 litre 2 door Park Ward Coupe
Finished in Brooklands racing green with green leather interior. This superb and rare motor car was completely and meticulously restored between 1995 and late 1996 and is one of six known examples remaining in the world today. No originality has been sacrificed at all, although it has a superb and completely reversible engine modification done to enhance performance, thus being more suitable for modern day driving conditions. Although value for money is a vulgar phrase amongst discerning Bentley purchasers, this Bentley represents superb value for money compared with similar examples offered at extortionate prices. Coachwork By Mulliner. # YF 5001. Historically this is one of the most important 8 litre Bentleys; it was the first production model and its first owner was the famous film and stage star of the thirties, Mr Jack Buchanan. Restored to Concours winning condition by the late Geoff Huckle in 1986/7 and has won the prestigious Kensington Garden Award for best restoration. This is as good as it gets. 2.5 ltr 2 cylinder. This superb and very rare motor car has competed in many London to Brighton rallies and was once owned by the chairman of the RAC. It is in superb original order.
